Every Voice Choirs helps young people discover their voices and share them with pride. We are music educators who empower children by teaching them to share their voices confidently through their singing and throughout their lives. 

Based at Columbia University Teachers College, EVC is unique for bringing exceptional choral training to ALL children. For EVC singers who seek rigorous choral training, the Concert Choir provides the opportunity to perform challenging works in collaboration with adult choirs and orchestras. EVC's core choirs - Kids Choir and Youth Choir - welcome all singers ages 7-17 without audition. EVC VoiceAbility is designed for children ages 7-17 with and without disabilities to grow musically in community. Cornerstone Intergenerational Choir is a unique space for singers of all ages - children and their trusted adults - to sing together. All choirs perform in concerts throughout NYC.

Recognizing how deeply personal voices are, EVC teaches healthy, flexible vocal technique while valuing each students’ musical experience, ability and taste. Students are nurtured as musical leaders who learn to improvise freely, write their own songs, and share their voices and their ideas with confidence throughout the process of learning and performing.
