EVC Generations is an intergenerational choir made up of choir directors and voice teachers who, as graduate students in Music Education at Teachers College participated in Every Voice Choirs as interns, assistant directors, or directors - and their current students. Formed as EVC celebrates its tenth year in residence at TC, EVC Generations will make its debut at Carnegie Hall’s world-famous Stern Auditorium on December 11th, 2022, singing "Suscepit Israel" from Bach’s Magnificat in a concert presented by The Cecilia Chorus of New York with Orchestra (Mark Shapiro, Artistic Director). The choir will be directed by EVC’s Artistic Director, Nicole Becker.
